Crafted in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lao Brewery Company, Ltd., Beerlao Green marks a historic milestone and the path for a more planet-friendly way of brewing.

An easy-drinking lager, Beerlao Green features a uniquely crisp flavour and smooth taste. It is crafted to celebrate LBC’s brewing excellence across half a century, reflecting the pride, culture and heritage of the Lao people and the evolution of LBC’s flagship brand. Beerlao Green is available in two size variants, a 330ml bottle and 500ml can.
Single Origin Xebangfai - Proudly Lao.
Beerlao Green is crafted from single-origin, locally grown and developed lowland rice variants Hom Xebangfai2 and Hom Xebangfai3, sourced from the LBC Sustainable Farm pilot project in the Xebangfai region, known for its resilience to the changing seasons. The Xebangfai2 rice is sustainably cultivated along the Mekong tributary in two pilot areas within the Vientiane Prefecture.

Beerlao Green is crafted from single-origin, organically-grown locally-developed lowland rice variants Hom Xebangfai2 and Hom Xebangfai3, sourced from the LBC Sustainable Farm pilot project in the Xebangfai region, known for its resilience to the changing seasons. The organic rice is sustainably cultivated along the Mekong tributary in two pilot areas within the Vientiane Prefecture.

The LBC Sustainable Farm pilot project is also making a difference for our farming community. We adopt the Carlsberg Group’s ZERO Farming Footprint goals and regenerative agricultural practices, that maximise yield, minimise artificial fertiliser usage, balance usage of organic fertiliser and eliminate pesticide use.
The result? Our farmers are improving their yield each harvest, and have increased the number of harvests in a year.
